Mr. R. L. Borden, Leader of the Opposition, who spent the greater part Of the parliamentary recess in Great Britain, returned to Canada and paid a it to his native Province, Nova Scotia. While there, he addressed two public meetings. When speaking in Halifax he announced that during the year 1910 a convention of the Conservative party will be held when great questions of policy and organization will be dealt with.
