Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book presents hyperbolic and circular functions of complex variables in 2D rectangular polar coordinates. The functions are tabulated between the limits of 0 and 10 for x, and 0 and 2Ï for y. The author shows it's an easy matter to extend the range of x beyond 10, should the need arise. However, due to the complexity of creating the tables, entries are necessarily large, meaning interpolation is required for ordinary engineering purposes where three or four significant digits are needed. To this end, a separate atlas of 23 large-scale charts, 45 cm x 45 cm over ruled areas, has been prepared and is published as an adjunct to these Tables. The necessary interpolation can very swiftly be made on the charts, by inspection. This book is targeted toward an audience of academics and scholars working in mathematics and engineering. The complex functions provided in the tables are relevant to the analysis of alternating-current lines, line conductors, and potential current and power. The author's insights into this field of study will spark new ideas and promote further research into this subject.
