Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book details the lives of eight men who graduated from Princeton University in 1885. It is a compendium of letters and journal entries as collected by the class secretary in 1900. The text begins with the class secretary's opening remarks for a reunion. He reflects on one of the members' help in organizing the event and how through the anonymous donation of two flags and two banners, one of which was unsatisfactory, the reunion was improved significantly. A second donation was also mentioned, this time from another member, of a band that played for the class on Monday evening. The secretary thanks both members for their contributions because of how much more enjoyable they made the reunion. Following the secretary's remarks, entries from the members who attended the reunion take turns highlighting topics including memorable Princeton experiences, personal travel, employment, family, political involvement, and honors received. The entries are chronologically listed, and while some are brief, others go into great detail about certain topics.
