Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book traces the Wesleyan family line from the 16th century to the 20th. Beginning with Sir Herbert Wesley and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of an Irish knight, the text provides biographical sketches of notable family members. The author brings together various private and public records such as the Peerage of Ireland, Playfair's British Family Antiquity, and the author's own research. Arranged chronologically, the book presents family history, accomplishments, and struggles against the backdrop of a tumultuous era in English history. This rich tapestry of genealogy and historical context reveals the threads that connect this influential family to the founding of Methodism and other notable contributions to British life. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N de rf. du vendeur 9781333481001_0
