Zachariah had five children. Charles, the fourth child, was born Feb. 26, 1794; died June 26, 1872. Ind 1820 he went into business in Wayland with his brother Newell, under the style of N. 85 0: Heard. July 5, 1821, he joined the mili tia, acting as aid to Micah Rutter with the rank of captain. In 1830 he came to Brighton.
