Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book puts forward a critical analysis of the Epistle to the Romans, in which the author dissects the text to reveal the work of four different authors, all of whom were writing under the guise of the Apostle Paul. The author of this book argues that the first author, G1, believed that salvation was achieved through obedience to the law; the second, G2, placed greater importance on faith in God; the third, JC, emphasised faith in the death of Christ as a sacrifice; and the fourth, CJ, focused on the importance of spiritual union with Christ. This critical analysis provides new insights into the authorship of the Epistle to the Romans and the diversity of theological perspectives that existed within early Christianity, shedding light on the evolution of Christian thought and the complex nature of its foundational texts.
