Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book explores the distribution of current in supraconductorsâ"materials that conduct electricity without resistance. The author presents theoretical and experimental research he carried out in 1924, initially to determine whether critical currents correspond to critical magnetic fields in supraconductors but later expanded to include the effects of persistent induced currents. The author concludes that the hypothesis of the correspondence of critical currents and critical fields cannot be established by a crucial experiment, but that his research can completely explain his experimental results without making use of the concept of critical current. The author's insights on supraconductors challenge the prevailing scientific thought of the time, opening new avenues for research and understanding of these materials. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781334261473_0
