Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book is the result of two different methods being utilized to prepare Anthrax and Hemorrhagic Septicaemia sera, the oxalate method, and the defibrination method. These methods are analyzed to determine the efficiency and quality of each. After an introduction and background on the process, the author goes into detail about the two methods and then compares the results gained from each. There was a significant difference in the serum yield, with the oxalate method producing much higher yields, and with a consistently superior appearance when compared to that produced by defibrination. The author concludes that the results of the study show that the oxalate method is preferable to the defibrination method for the preparation of Anthrax and Hemorrhagic Septicaemia sera.
