Expanding on the research, theory, and practice showcased in From Striving to Thriving, this book tackles the “overlabeling” inherent in RTI, and builds a case for voluminous independent reading as the best intervention for all children.
The authors offer an easy-to-use decisionmaking guide that begins with key questions, leads you to make pinpointed observations about your striving readers, and then offers targeted lessons and actions you can take to help them make gains―and learn to love reading!
