And by the Salt he reprefents her Prayer to God, wherein we ought alfo to joyn for obtaining his Grace.to preferve our Souls from fpiritual corruption, as Salt preferves the Body from corporal. And as Sdt givesanagreeable taft to our Meat, fo his Grace rendei sour adions acceptable to his Majeftypreferving ufr Oni falling into thole fins wherewith the Devil might otherwife mfed us, whereby we may more worthily be affiftant at the Holy Sacrifice of the Body and Blood of CH RIS T, and reap the benefit thereof.
