The writer of it has had more than i quarter of a centurys experience in preaching the primitive gospel in the State of Nebraska. He knows her history, has visited nearly all her towns, is acquainted with her people, and next to his love of Christ and His pure gospel as the Apostles preached it, loves Nebraska and-her people. He has been as delighted when eating bacon and potatoes cooked with their jackets on, in the dug-out of some lowly, loving Disciple, as when faring sumptuously at the table of some wealthy Christian. The necessity for so much earnest pioneer work has made him, to some, appear too positive in his preaching of truth and denunciation of error, but it is the only way to success, and he has learned that lesson. He tl:at goes into battle with sin and error with doubt for his shield will fail. Strong in faith and his convictions of truth, Bro.
