Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book explores the thermophysical properties of fine-grained, isotropic graphite for use as a Research Material (RM) from 5 to 2500 K. The author investigates the electrical resistivity, thermal conductivity, specific heat, thermal diffusivity, thermal expansion, and Seebeck coefficient of AXM graphite. Electrical resistivity and density measurements were performed on numerous rods at temperatures from 4 to 300 K. Thermal conductivity measurements were performed on thirteen specimens at ambient conditions. The author discovered a correlation between these variables that allows for the calculation of thermal conductivity from simple and inexpensive electrical resistivity and density measurements to within 2%. The results of this study will be of interest to researchers in the fields of materials science, engineering, and physics. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781390362459_0
