Miranda Forster grew up in small-town rural Georgia. Her grandparents, parents, siblings, and friends from around the world helped to inspire her writings.

Miranda first fell in love with writing poetry as a young child, and in high school won multiple poetry writing contests.

She says, "Writing is cathartic. It helps me to get out my emotions and be able to come back later and reflect."

Miranda lives in the southern suburbs of Atlanta with her husband, one of two daughters, one cat, and one dog.

She plans to continue to write for the rest of her life.
