Qusay F. Hassan, PhD, is an independent researcher and a technology evangelist with over 20 years of professional experience in ICT. He has authored and co-authored a number of journal and conference papers and book chapters, and has published several books including two edited titles on IoT, namely Internet of Things: Challenges, Solutions, and Emerging Technologies (2025) with Wiley-IEEE Press and Internet of Things: Challenges, Advances, and Applications (2017) with CRC Press. Qusay has also participated in reviewing many articles and books, including the Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK) V 4.0, IEEE Computing Society. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
