Paperback. Etat : Very Good. Pearson Edexcel A Level UK Government and Politics ? Sixth Edition (2021) Neil McNaughton & Toby Cooper, Hodder Education ISBN: 9781398311336 Condition: Very Good Sold by: Crappy Old Books Ah, politics. The national pastime where everyone has an opinion, nobody agrees on the rules, and the plot twists arrive faster than you can update your notes. If you?re going to revise UK Government and Politics, you might as well do it with a book that looks like it was built to survive the experience. Enter the Sixth Edition (2021) of the Pearson Edexcel A Level text, by Neil McNaughton and Toby Cooper , published by Hodder Education , and sitting here in Very Good condition like a calm, organised adult in a room full of shouting. This is the kind of textbook that tries to bring order to the beautiful chaos of the British constitution, Parliament, Prime Ministerial power, elections, parties, pressure groups, the judiciary, and all the other moving parts that somehow keep the country functioning between news alerts. It won?t ask you to ?just feel the vibes? of democracy. It will give you definitions, structure, themes, and the sort of clear explanation that makes you think, briefly, that everything makes sense. (Then you switch on the radio and the spell breaks. But still, the book tried.) The irony is delicious: UK politics, famously allergic to clarity, being served up in neat chapters with headings, diagrams, and key terms. Like packaging a thunderstorm into a lunchbox. Yet that?s exactly why this exists. It?s the revision bunker. The map. The reliable friend who says, ?Right, let?s take this one institution at a time,? while you clutch your highlighters like they?re emergency supplies. And this copy is Very Good , which in Crappy Old Books terms means it?s been treated with surprising respect. It may have the faint ghost of a student?s ambition, the lightest trace of page-turning panic, but it?s not a wreck. No tragic coffee tides. No catastrophic spine collapse. Just a sturdy, presentable, ready-to-work guide to a subject that loves to change its mind mid-sentence. Perfect for: A Level students who would like to turn ?vaguely aware of Westminster? into actual marks parents attempting to help and realising they?ve forgotten how any of it works anyone who enjoys the comforting illusion that politics can be summarised the sort of person who reads manifestos recreationally (we won?t judge, much) Sold by Crappy Old Books , because even when we?re dealing in satire, irony, and questionable paperbacks, we respect a solid textbook. If you need to learn how the UK is governed, and then pass an exam on it, this is an excellent companion. It won?t fix politics. But it will help you explain it, which is arguably the next best thing. Very Good condition. Serious book. Comically useful. N° de réf. du vendeur 5205
