Natalie Haynes is a writer, broadcaster and classicist. She has published four novels: The Amber Fury (The Furies in the US) in 2014, The Children of Jocasta (2017), the New York Times bestseller A Thousand Ships (2019) and Stone Blind (2022), which was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2023. She has also published three non-fiction books: The Ancient Guide to Modern Life (2010), Pandora's Jar (2020) and Divine Might (2023). She has a series on BBC Radio 4, Natalie Haynes Stands Up for the Classics, which is also available on BBC Sounds and Audible.

Natalie Foss is a Norwegian illustrator who draws with coloured pencils and Procreate, focusing on bold colours, patterns and emotions. Clients include Penguin Random House, Little White Lies, and the BBC. She has illustrated Movie Tarot (2020), Angels for the Modern Mystic (2022), The Real Women of Greek Myth Jigsaw Puzzle (2022) and Greek Goddesses Playing Cards (2025) for Laurence King.
