Although Coffin is their guide he is also a man with a purpose; to hunt and kill Midnight, a large black wolf, with whom he has a personal vendetta.

Mike Walsh is a retired art director who spent his working life as a corporate consultant in the "wilderness" of New York City. Creativity persists and he has produced "Alpha Male", his first novel. He lives on Long Island with his wife, Terri. His two married daughters and six grandchildren live nearby.
