Kurt Busiek was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He began writing comics professionally in 1982, selling stories to both DC and Marvel Comics in the same month, both of which appeared the same day. Since then, he's written series and characters ranging from Mickey Mouse to Vampirella, including Aquaman, Spider-Man, Conan, Iron Man, the Avengers, and more. He is best known for his co-creation Astro City, which has garnered numerous industry awards. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Ann, and his two daughters.

Fabian Nicieza is a veteran comics writer whose work includes co-writing Trinity, DC Comics' weekly comic, as well as several Batman-related projects. He has also worked for Marvel Comics on X-Force, Deadpool, Thunderbolts, and more.

Walter Simonson was born in Knoxville, TN, and grew up in College Park, MD. He's worked on DC's Manhunter, Metal Men, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the original graphic novel The Judas Coin, as well as Alien, Thor, The Fantastic Four, Elric, World of Warcraft, and The Star Slammers, among many others.
