Synopsis

THE STORY BEHIND THE SMASH-HIT VIDEOGAME!

The Joker is dead. But in Gotham City, evil lives on.

Batman has battled his way through the open-air prison known as Arkham City, barely escaping with his life. Now, with his nemesis gone and his outlook changed forever, he’s ready to use the resources of his alter ego Bruce Wayne to shut Arkham down and truly transform the city he has sworn to protect.

But Batman’s enemies, too, are more motivated than ever. Even as the Joker’s tricks and traps continue to wreak havoc, the bloody throne of the Clown Prince of Crime is vacant. Villains from the Penguin to Harley Quinn to the terrifying Scarecrow himself are plotting to seize power.

Yet an even greater threat lurks in Gotham’s shadows. A new crimefighter has come to town, wearing high-tech armor and killing criminals wherever he finds them. But his true target is Batman himself, and this Arkham Knight will stop at nothing to take the Dark Knight down.

As the Arkham saga rockets to its conclusion, Batman’s greatest challenge is about to begin…

Collects BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT #1-6.
