The response that we have received for the congress is excellent. There have been more than ve hundred manuscript submissions for the IMECS 2008. All submitted - pers have gone through the peer review process and the overall acceptance rate is 56.03%. Thisvolumecontainsrevisedandextendedresearcharticleswrittenbyprominent researchers participating in the conference. Topics covered include communi- tions theory, communications protocols, network management, wireless networks, telecommunication, electronics, power engineering, controlengineering, signal p- cessing, and industrial applications.
