Biographie de l'auteur

My name is Stacy Anderson. I grew up in Jefferson, TX., a small town in Northeast Texas. It's a town where family life and values were, and still is an important part in growing up. As a child, I would always tell a story to my family while sitting at the kitchen table. Being the youngest of six children, it was my way of getting attention. Little did I know that I would begin writing seriously while attending Texas Southern University. I decided to write my first book and divide it into two parts. A short story that I completed at my home in Dallas, and my poetry that I wrote over a time span of eight years since high school. I hope you as a reader enjoy my work and the effort that I put into this project. As an African- American woman and writer. I believe in faith, and the desire to express my spirituality through God by reading my Bible, and with prayer. I continue to feel his presence always during my times of struggle and need. My only want is his blessings. He is my guidance and my light. When I felt compelled to write. I always felt his presence through my body as I put my thoughts on paper. I hope you as the reader enjoy my short story and poetry. Thank You for your support and may God bless.
