Synopsis

First in a series, The Wind Song sweeps the reader into a new dimension of science fiction where the discovery of a hidden alien race will transform the future of Earth and mankind forever. This gripping novel introduces Kevin Krause, a young journalist, in Phoenix, Arizona who is always on the lookout for that 'story of a lifetime,' which will finally give him the recognition he craves. A peculiar phone call early one summer morning piques his curiosity and heightens his nose for news, taking him far into the stifling desert for a clandestine interview with a very unusual old man.Kevin jeopardizes his sanity and his freedom while inadvertently compromising National Security. He bucks the CIA and a very insistent Army Colonel who search for the connection between an insignificant little farm in the rain-parched desert of Arizona and a small oasis half a world away in the middle of the Iraqi desert. Unfolding events will force the re-examination of the currently accepted hypotheses of sound and light, ultimately collapsing established scientific theories while hurling current technology beyond the recognized boundaries of physics. Will Kevin sacrifice his journalistic integrity and the sanctity of life to make the story public?
