K.V. Key was born in the hills of East Tennessee and has recently retired from the University of Tennessee Hospital. Her grandmother was a Cherokee Indian herb doctor who passed on her skills along with many of her life stories to K.V. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and camping and she is currently creating the continuing story of Ivory Green and Lee Banks, two characters from her first book The Snow Turns Red. K.V. has also written several poems, which have been published over the last few years.In the future K.V. has plans to broaden her interest in writing to include screenplays.
