After recalling some of Matt Barbani's life and tribulations on his Spanish farm, his friends and co-workers insisted that he put it all down on paper. His journal was started in December 1997 while working in Saudi Arabia and finally finished in August of 1999. At times it was difficult to remember all the dates and exact circumstances of his worldly adventures, but his research and old buddies aided, and at times corrected some of its details. It is an accounting of all true experiences during his adventurous lifetime. It has all the joy, sorrow and laughter that should make it an interesting read. Biographie de l'auteur

M.L. Barbani has worked all of his life, first at age ten in a shoe repair shop in the Bronx. His three hours work got him ten cents an hour for take home pay. Although the job didn't last long, it set the pace for his need to be active and contribute to the family. He has spent nearly 22 years of his professional career living and working in dangerous and unusual overseas environments. He now lives a retired life in N.Carolina writing and painting along the Pamlico/Tar River. He is determined that his adventures continue.
