Biographie de l'auteur

Dale Jacobson's poetry has appeared in numerous journals. His close friendship with Thomas McGrath, whom Adrienne Rich once characterized as 'the great Midwestern radical workingclass poet,' led to his providing editorship for the definitive edition of McGrath's epic poem, Letter to an Imaginary Friend. Jacobson's five previous books of poetry include Dakota Incantations (1973), Poems for Goya's Disparates (1980), Shouting At Midnight (1986), Hunting My Home Town (1997), and Voices of the Communal Dark (2000), the last two from Red Dragonfly Press known for it fine hand-printed productions. Forthcoming from Red Dragonfly Press is a long poem entitled A Walk by the River, which Jacobson describes as 'a metaphysical inquiry.' He resides in his home state of Minnesota.
