Synopsis

A vibrant page-turner that keeps you longing for the little girl's wish to be fulfilled ... will they, won't they get to the zoo?

Sadie has always wanted to go to the zoo, but something always seems to get in the way. But not today! Today, Sadie and her dad are going to the zoo no matter what. Or so they think. When it starts raining, it looks as if maybe their trip is in jeopardy again, but what's this? It seems to be raining only on Dad's side of the car! Will Sadie s determination not to let anything stop them win the day this time? This book is inspired by an actual trip to a nature preserve Kate and Jules once took.
