All righty then! Celebrate the tall and short of a marvellous friendship with a new Bink and Gollie adventure exuding the quirky wit and charm of a multi-award-winning team.
Gollie is quite sure she has royal blood in her veins, but can Bink survive her friend’s queenly airs – specially if pancakes are not part of the deal? Bink wonders what it would be like to be as tall as her friend, but how far will she stretch her luck to find out? And when Bink and Gollie long to get their picture into a book of record-holders, where will they find the kudos they seek? Find slapstick and sweetness, drollery and delight in a new follow-up to the award-winning Bink and Gollie, written by beloved and best-selling authors Kate DiCamillo and Alison McGhee and brought to hilarious life by New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Book award-winner Tony Fucile.

Kate DiCamillo was born in Philadelphia and moved with her family to Florida when she was five years old. In her twenties, Kate DiCamillo moved to Minnesota. It was this dislocation from her home that inspired Kate to write her first novel, "Because of Winn-Dixie". An immediate commercial and critical success, "Because of Winn-Dixie" went on to become a Newbery Honour Book in 2001 and was subsequently made into a film that was released in 2005. But that wasn’t enough for Kate, and she went on to win the Newbery Medal in 2004 for her book "The Tale of Despereaux", a story about an unlikely hero. This was followed by another unusual tale with "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane", a story about a china rabbit who learns about love. Kate has also written a series of early chapter-book readers about a lovable pig named Mercy Watson and her fun adventures. Kate lives in Minneapolis, where she faithfully writes two pages a day, five days a week.
Tony Fucile has spent more than twenty years designing and animating characters for cartoon feature films, including "The Little Mermaid", "The Lion King" and "The Incredibles", for which he was a supervising animator. "Let's Do Nothing" is his first picture book. He lives with his family in San Francisco, USA.
