Deepal Warakadoda is Sri Lanka's leading ornithologist. A tour leader, photographer and conservationist, Deepal made his name with his stunning 2002 discovery of the Serendib Scops Owl in Sri Lanka's Sinharaja Forest. He has since written several guides to Sri Lanka's wildlife for Bloomsbury.

Uditha Hettige is a tour leader and photographer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Himesha Warakagoda is a biologist and author, with a deep understanding of the birds of Sri Lanka and a passion for their conservation.
