À propos de l?auteur
I am a freelance wildlife and natural history photographer, as well as lecturer in digital photography at NESCOT College in Surrey. I was one of the first people in the UK to use a digital camera nearly 20 years ago. I have had over 100 articles published and 10 book titles: selection below: "Digital Close-Up and Macro Photography", Focal Press (2009) "The Digital Photographers Handbook" (Nature) RotoVision (2004) "The Digital Imaging A - Z", Focal Press (2005) "Digital Imaging for Photographers" (4 editions) with P. Fennessy, Focal Press. I give numerous talks and workshops for organisations such as the Field Studies Council, Royal Photographic Society, the Royal Horticultural Society and camera clubs. Participants on these workshops, particularly the FSC and RHS would be possible customers for the proposed book. The RHS currently stock my latest title on Digital Close-Up and Macro Photography in their shops. I have over 30 years of photographing all aspects of plant life, and a wealth of experience of running workshops in all aspects of plant photography. My masters degree was based on insect vision and ultraviolet photography - how insects see flowers. My stock images are held by Nature Picture Library, and Alamy, and have been published in numerous books and magazines.
