'These guinea pigs really know how to act' The Times
Born into the litters of two rival families, star-cross'd lovers Romeo and Juliet fall tuft-over-paw for each other before learning that they are sworn enemies.
'O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?' squeaks Juliet from her balcony, before declarations of undying affection are made and a secret wedding is planned. William Shakespeare (1564-1616) was an English dramatist, poet, and actor, generally regarded as the greatest playwright of all time.
Tess Newall is a set designer who specialises in fashion shoots and decorative painting. She carefully stitched and painted each tiny detail in A Guinea Pig Night Before Christmas, creating a small but perfectly formed vision of Christmas Eve in a guinea pigs's home.
Alex Goodwin was born in 1985 and he has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Some people have noticed that much of his writing comes to the length of a medium-sized shopping list; this is explained by the fact that a picture of a guinea pig says a thousand words. He lives in London.
