Synopsis
Tales of the Alhambra is a collection of essays, verbal sketches, and stories by Washington Irving. Irving travelled from Seville to Granada in 1829 where he requested access from the governor and archbishop of Grenoble which he was swiftly granted due to his celebrity status. He took up residence in the Alhambra palace which is where he wrote most of this volume.
