When investigators have exhausted all leads, Kateland hits upon the bold idea of hiring Faith to impersonate Jenell, which he hopes will draw out the truth. In return for her help, he will see to it that Faith's ill son receives the best medical care money can afford.

Soon Faith finds herself in the limelight of a world she barely knew existed, where unspeakable family secrets are veiled by the outward appearance of correctness. Will finding the answer to Jenell's disappearance cost Faith her life?

Biographie de l'auteur

Fascinated by words since early childhood, Remona Winnie started writing poetry and keeping a journal in high school. Mrs. Rudder, her English and Creative Writing teacher, told Remona her work held potential. That single sentence of encouragement would sustain Remona through many years of developing and perfecting her craft.While she went on to become a graphic artist and to raise a family by day, Remona continued to freelance, authoring articles, short stories, and poems. She attended a number of workshop-driven conferences in different states, including the Maui Writer's Conference.In 2002, Remona's first novel, Veil of Secrecy, won the first place award in the unpublished novel category of the Arizona Authors Association's national literary contest.
