Synopsis

Distorted Pillars is the witty inside perspective of law enforcement from a beginning law man who strikes out at anything he considers unethical, unfair or unpatriotic. Trying to please his father, Mike Evans is forced to accept the job of patrolman. After only forty-five minutes on duty, he finds himself involved in a grue some death. Patrolman Evans continuously deals with exciting, dangerous situations; some of which result in death and hostage situations, while other incidents become hilarious and end with the unexpected. Meanwhile, a greedy captain, who devotes his time to selling guns, creates havoc by causing accidental gun discharges inside the police department. Evans is not impressed with people who feel that they are above the law or too important to be arrested. They go to jail like everyone else. He becomes the head of the Major Crime Task Force and teams up with a Texas Ranger to fight crime outside his jurisdiction. With animosity building, the district attorney and the sheriff consider Evans as their enemy. Can the conclusion of Evans' frustration end in the crumbling of the pillars of the community and their own sense of distorted justice before he loses his own job?
