Synopsis

He becomes the head of the Major Crime Task Force and teams up with a Texas Ranger to fight crime outside his jurisdiction. With animosity building, the district attorney and the sheriff consider Evans as their enemy. Can the conclusion of Evans' frustration end in the crumbling of the pillars of the community and their own sense of distorted justice before he loses his own job?

Mike McKee was born and raised in the West Texas area. He spent twelve years in law enforcement, which were worked in and around all forms of the cattle business and raising five boys. Mike and his wife currently live in West Texas, enjoying country life and their grandchildren.
