À propos de l'auteur

William Kist is an associate professor at Kent State University and the current Director of The National Council of Teachers of English′s (NCTE) Commission on Media. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on adolescent literacy at Kent State and he has a background in teaching middle and high school English. In his capacity as Director of the Commission on Media, Kist heads one of several commissions that serve in an advisory capacity to NCTE′s Executive Committee. He is also an active NCTE consultant. Kist has published numerous articles on new literacy, and a book with Teachers College Press entitled New Literacies In Action: Teaching And Learning In Multiple Media (2005).
