Doug Newburg has interviewed and worked with hundreds of world-class performers in fields as diverse as sports, business, aeronautics, the military and education. He was on the general faculty at the University of Virginia Medical School for 15 years where he was named to the Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators, and he worked for several years at the University of Florida Medical School in the thoracic surgery division. Doug has consulted with a wide variety of organizations interested in becoming world-class. Among those, State Farm, Capital One, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He is the author of The Most Important Lesson No One Every Taught Me, A Pearl's Promise, and Powered By Feel. He was featured in John Eckberg's book, The Success Effect: Uncommon Conversations with America's Business Trailblazers, and has appeared on Good Morning America. His work has been cited in publications including Outside, Self, Reader's Digest, Olympic Coach, and GQ.
