Moses, with God's help and advice allows the Hebrews to escape from slavery in Egypt. Jesus is born to Mary with the assistance of local workers and grows up to be the world's greatest magician with the help of his Dad. Christopher Columbus is intent on finding a Westward Cruise to the Indies, but his poor sense of direction causes serious problems. George Washington and Abe Lincoln become great leaders of the new country, although coming from vastly different origins and paths to the White House. Lastly, Albert Einstein revolutionizes science, but can't figure out his bank statements or income tax. In brief, it's a fun book, and everyone who reads it will love it.

Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. Saul Davis is a retired physician, having served the Brockton, MA community as a family practitioner for forty five years. He graduated Boston College pre med school and always showed interest in history and literature, of course, concentrating mostly in the sciences. After graduating medical school, he interned at the Brockton Hospital and then opened an office for the practice of family medicine. In spite of a very busy professional schedule, he managed to become involved in other activities. He owned a stable of race horses for twenty years, which was a wonderful experience. He also became a Civil War buff, and claimed to have been a physician in General George Meade's Army, at the Battle of Gettysburg. but this event has not been verified. He is an avid reader and attends courses at The Boston College Institute for Learning in Retirement, participating in history, literature, and current events. He has always been interested in telling and writing humorous stories, but the writing of THE HISTORY OF MAN -sort of , has been his major achievement.
