This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. This volume contains Izaak Walton’s famous fishing manual, "The Compleat Angler". The chapters of this volume include: “A Conference betwixt an Angler, a Hunter, and a Falconer; each commending his recreation”, “Observations of the Otter and Chub”, “How to Fish For, and to Dress the Chavender, or Chub”, “Observations of the Nature and Breeding of the Trout, and How to Fish for Him”, etcetera. Izaak Walton (1594 - 1683) was an English author. He is best remembered for writing "The Compleat Angler", but he also wrote numerous short biographies that were published under the title of Walton's Lives. Many antiquarian texts such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive, and it is with this in mind that we are republishing this book now, in an affordable, high-quality, modern edition. It comes complete with a specially commissioned biography of the author.
