Synopsis
This issue, the second part of a two part issue, reviews the latest advances in PET imaging. Diagnosis and staging of lung cancer, monitoring response to treatment, and hypoxia and angiogenesis in tumors are reviewed. Additionally the use of PET in neurologic disorders including Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, and movement disorders is covered. Also included are articles on the applications of PET in coronary artery disease and infections and inflammation.
