Lynne Goldsworthy is a modern British quilter, who quilts and works under the name Lily s Quilts. She has had her quilt patterns published in books and magazines, as well as designing quilts for fabric companies. She is one of the team of four modern quilters who run Fat Quarterly, the online modern quilting magazine. She also co-runs and teaches at the Fat Quarterly London Retreat. She belongs to the East Midlands Modern Quilt Guild and also has her own informal Kitchen Guild of local, modern quilters who gather around her kitchen table to discuss important things such as new fabric lines, new quilts being made and the price of a cup of tea. You can find her quilts, free tutorials and daily musings on modern quilting on her blog: http://lilysquilts.blogspot.co.uk/ Kerry Green has been sewing from an early age and is happy making quilts, clothes, bags in fact anything stitchy. She designs paper piecing patterns with graphic vintage themes as part of the Sew-Ichigo design team, and her patterns have been published in a range of quilting books and magazines. She has a quirky, scrappy style and her love of vintage fabrics gives her work a traditional meets modern feel. Teaching has always been a big part of her life and she is a class leader at the Fat Quarterly retreat, as well as at the Sewing Directory regional meet ups.
