But the real hope in this book is that they will take the opportunity to declare, "I am a person physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is all in me and I wouldn't have it any other way."

My name is Pedro Silva. I am a husband, a father, a minister, and a dreamer who writes. I have been writing almost as long as I have been reading. My fascination with words began with the realization that words can be used to create worlds. They can also be used to destroy them. They can be used to harm and they can be used to heal. This is the power that humans have been afforded. As a writer, I try to use my words responsibly. I don't take them for granted. My hope for my writing is that those who encounter it, will experience it as an invitation into a greater experience of who they are as multi-faceted beings. With this book of poetry, I explore the facets expressed as body, mind, and soul. Each poem is an opportunity for the reader to journey with me and to be a part of the creative process.
