DanHeidt is a former FDNY Paramedic, who labored on thegraveyard shift in Harlem New York.¿ Encountering true life experiences that mostpeople hope they will never have to deal with.¿His gut wrenching encounters of the street life in the Emergency MedicalProfession pour forth between the covers of this book.¿ His experiences, partnerships and relationswith co-workers prompted the necessary material for No Back Up.¿ A book that had to bewritten.¿ His other publicationdealing with the Emergency Medical Profession was Disposable Heros.¿ Dan Heidt currently resides in Brooklyn, NY still looking for the silver lining in EmergencyMedical Services.
