Biographie de l'auteur

Itis no wonder that baseball is and will forever be our country's nationalpastime.¿ The game itself instills pride, hope and tradition, more so than any other sport this side of the Atlantic.¿ As a young boy growing up in Newark, New Jersey, Garydeveloped a passion for baseball at a very early age.¿ It didn't hurt that the Yankees were the hometown team or that Mickey Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956, the year he wasborn.¿ Whether it was having a catch withhis dad, playing stickball in the street or a real game of baseball at thepark, putting on the glove made all of life's problems disappear.¿ Even today, when taking his daughters to thestadium, Gary still brings his glove, hoping that the magic ofbaseball will cause one of the many allusive foul balls to find a permanenthome at Gary's Wall of Fame.¿Home Field Advantage will hopefully continue to foster the spirit ofbaseball for generations to come.
