Roadmap to Leadership proposesthree strategies as recipe for a successful entry into leadership role.Strategic learning is an information management strategy that is ecological,generative, progressive, reflective, and emotional. Strategic change is atransforming strategy that aims at aligning attitudes, relationships, andstructures to the desired goal of the enterprise. Strategic vision is choosinga focus and framework of meaning that functions as prod and magnet for everyeffort deployed by the leader. In conjunction with these strategies the newleaders must communicate their vision effectively, drive the transformationprocess passionately, navigate the roadmap knowledgeably and with discipline,and time the taking-charge process so that it is not prolonged indefinitely.

Biographie de l'auteur

ForbiStephen Kizito is a Jesuit priest from Cameroon. He teachers in the Department ofPhilosophy in the Catholic University of Central Africa, Yoaunde, Cameroon. He holds a Bachelors inPhilosophy from Pontifical Urban University, Rome; aBachelors in Theology from Catholic University of East Africa,Nairobi, Kenya; a Masters in Theology from University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada; and a Doctorate in Education from Fordham University, New York, USA. He has an international teaching experience. Hetaught in Teachers' College, Tatum, Cameroon; Ecole de Provence, Marseille, France, and Preston High School, New York, USA. He was Prefect of Students in CollgeCharles Lwanga, Sarh, Chad and Vice Principal in Collge Liberman, Douala, Cameroon. His expertise is in the area of administration,supervision, and policy.
