Synopsis

There's nothing worse than trying to give someone your best and all you receive is their worst. Add to this the fact that you've given your time to this person, while all you're considered to be is "something to do" while they wait for what they really want. Say it loud, "Damn! I got played!" What's Really Going On Out Here (The Real S**t) is a look at how the game (dating) really goes down. A general excuse made by perpetrators of dating atrocities is "I didn't make the game, the game made me." A forced reality we all recognize nowadays is how some folks have mastered the art of "love," "honor," "play," and "betray" just because it's convenient. Having said that, "play and betray" seems to be the "modus operandi" for a fair amount of people. What is the author's advice? To the guys, be careful when getting phone numbers because you just might find yourselves being broadcasted on a nationally syndicated radio show for laughs at your expense. As for the ladies, don't call a man a dog if you decide to "put him on" and he mistreats you. Remember, it was "your" decision to let him in the house. This dating thing isn't pretty, so here's the number one rule of engagement if anyone joins its ranks: "Watchoutdernow!"

Biographie de l'auteur

Jon K. Johnson has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland University College, and is working towards his master's degree in the same discipline. Currently, he's a full-time member of the U.S. Air Force specializing in the field of information technology (I.T.). Outside of work, he is a staunch body building enthusiast and is a certified instructor in the martial art of Shoot fighting. Having participated in a large part of the content he's written about (and been angrily pursued on more than one occasion as a result), his satirical yet "no bull" approach allows you to laugh and fume at the dumb things humans do in the pursuit of "good loving."  A motto followed by those in the "game" can be heard from him if asked what really goes on; "You either take statistics, make statistics, or be a statistic!"
