Biographie de l'auteur

Jim Womack is a retired high school History and Geography teacher currently living in historic Fincastle, Virginia. He graduated from VPI and SU in 1972 and had the opportunity to study under the esteemed Civil War Historian, Dr. James I. Robertson. He spent his entire teaching career at James River High School in Buchanan, Virginia. While a teacher, he served as department head, participated in curriculum development, and helped in the initial implementation of the Virginia Standards of Learning. His extracurricular activities included coaching soccer, and developing cross country running programs. Currently Jim is pursuing a new career as a motivational speaker. In his spare time he enjoys training for and competing in ultra marathons.
