The author is uniquely qualified to pen this chilling tale having served as an international courier of TOP SECRET documents for the Pentagon's Armed Forces Courier Service (ARFCOS) in the late sixties during the Vietnam conflict. He also received special training as an Army Intelligence Agent at the Adjutant General School and subsequently served as a Survivor's Assistance Officer while residing in Washington D.C. Mr. Stiers has received numerous citations as a Vietnam Era veteran from the Department of Defense. Not unlike his alter ego Ken Canary, the author holds a B. A. degree in English from the University of Cincinnati and has spent the last thirty years as a Human Resource Executive. While the writer has authored numerous short stories, The Rapanui Code is Mr. Stiers first novel. He currently resides in Loveland, Ohio with his wife Tricia.
