Synopsis

A grimy hand reaches down and pulls the maiden up to the evil brave's pony, as MeiLi joyfully dances in a meadow following her coming of age ceremony. Will her Medicine Woman and Shaman heritage bring the Apache girl through the spellbinding adventures she must endure? Being lost, raped, and held in cruel slavery test the girl's determined spirit. When she is rescued, MeiLi is drawn into the gripping struggle between Catholicism and loyalty to her tribal Gaan. Healing and saving lives earn her the name, Santa Apache, but she is forced to commit murder to prevent disaster. Set against the perils of the eighteenth century Spanish settlement of the Southwest, this epic is filled with conflict, danger, and romance.
