Dr. Lamphear is a clinical psychologist, popular speaker and instructor. She is a former assistant professor of psychology and clinic director at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, California. She has 30 years experience researching, developing, and providing better ways of helping all ages in the areas of rapid trauma resolution, anger control, parent training, permanent weight loss, addictions and peak performance training. She has co-authored two books with New Life's Stephen Arterburn, Gentle Eating and the Gentle Eating Workbook. Dr. Lamphear has appeared on radio and television describing her effective treatment methods. Through her international research, she provides EMDR to AIDS and war orphans in Africa. All proceeds from her books, tapes and seminars are donated to that effort. Dr. Lamphear lives in Long Beach, CA with her husband Ken, daughter Ryan and son Dylan.
