Synopsis

Welcome to Let Freedom Ring. The very words mean so much to so many different people who live in the land of opportunity known as America. Our country was bought at a price by men and women who paid for it with their lives. 'Let freedom ring!' they shouted. 'Give me liberty or give me death, ' another said. It was a war won with the heart for a new land-a new land of milk and honey, rich with adventure, waiting and ready to build character in the lives of the men and women who set out to conquer her. This book was written by an average American, born and raised in the heartland of Kansas, molded into a young man on the farm, and who raised his right hand and swore an oath of honor to protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Hopefully, I will amuse you with my personal views on several subjects, ranging from life on the farm to our Founding Fathers, and on a more serious note, sharing my thoughts and views on the events of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Michael MesMer is a native of Kansas who learned the value of hard work on his "Foster" parents farm. He joined the Army in 1993 and has served his country proudly, holding to the core values of Honor, Integrity, and Self Sacrifice. He believes strongly that our Nation was founded on a moral bed rock that gave both praise and credit to the Supreme Being who is the author and perfector of our founding faith. It was a faith that gave way to our National motto, "In God WE Trust", and a faith that inspired him to write this book
