Louis De Fusco was born in Providence, R.I.in 1928. He grew up in a neighborhood that was on the fringe of the mafia. He actually worked as a young boy in card clubs run by the mob. Future candidates often came from those clubs. He decided to go into music in an efort to get away from the lure of easy money. He went on to have three careers, music, television and real estate construction. Now 81, he resides in San Diego Ca. and has begun a whole new career as an author. In addition to "It Must Have Been The Pasta," an autobiography, he has written, That Rainy Day, a warm love story, and Jake Moretti Trilogy, a continuation of this new and different kind of Private Eye.
